Stephen Yi Luo joined NBW in 2023. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Landscape Architecture at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2019 and his Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Virginia in 2022. Stephen’s programs have received numerous recognitions and awards at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including Academic Scholarships and Merit Graduates. Stephen worked on several practice-based projects during his internship at the China Academy of Building Research, including residential and commercial landscape designs.

Stephen has comprehensive and extensive landscape design and visualization skills, ranging from historical and cultural contextual research and establishing comprehensive design archives to creative drafting, rendering, and modeling design skills. Besides landscape design, Stephen is also an extracurricular researcher of world history, botany, and ecology and an experienced concept artist currently focused on building his personal website and historical column
