June joined Nelson Byrd Woltz in June 2021 after receiving her Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was recognized for the Landscape Architecture Design Award in design excellence. She held internships with the National Park Service and TBG Partners, pursuing her interests in post-industrial and cultural landscapes. Her previous experience encompasses outdoor education and agricultural design-build firms, primarily in the Los Angeles area, as well as a rooted knowledge in horticulture. June holds a BS from the University of Washington in Ecology, with a focus in forest ecosystems. She brings with her an interest in community engagement and using landscape architecture as a tool to amplify the importance of cultural landscapes and ecological stewardship through creating more adaptable and just spaces.
