Christian received his Master of Landscape Architecture in 2019 and Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2016 from the University of Virginia, before joining Nelson Byrd Woltz in 2019. During his graduate studies, Christian received the Virginia ASLA Award of Merit and SARA NY Design Award for his proposal to remediate New Delhi’s Yamuna River through urban agriculture. His interest in ecological and social equity has afforded work and research in a variety of domestic and international contexts, from Native American Reservations in Montana to rural outskirts in Cambodia to the depopulated city of Detroit. Prior to joining NBW, Christian worked at Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, 100 Fold Studio, and Bushman Dreyfus Architects.
