URBAN FARM : CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA
QCC Farms! (http://cvilleqcc.com/Farm.aspx) is an Urban Agriculture Project designed to engage low-wealth city residents in raising organically grown vegetables in underutilized green spaces, while providing nutritional and environmental education. NBW developed the conceptual plan for the first Urban Farm which incorporates a rain harvesting system for irrigation.
