ASIA TRAIL AT THE NATIONAL ZOO : WASHINGTON, DC
Asia Trail is a quarter mile long, 11-acre accessible pedestrian and animal habitat corridor for seven endangered Asian animals. Located near a main entrance to the 135-acre National Zoo. Design incorporates multiple sustainable design strategies including green gabion walls, green roofs, local native stone and plants, rainwater collection and re-use, and natural resin-based paths. Collaboration with Chatelain Architects.
