BEDON’S ALLEY : CHARLESTON, SC
A narrow 35x70 square feet side yard of an 18th century converted warehouse in the Historic District is transformed into a cooling water garden with a mature peppermint peach tree preserved as a focal point. The source fountain for the reflecting pool is an abstraction of a tidal meander, typical of the Low Country (collaboration with Clark+Menefee Architects).
