KESWICK HALL AT MONTICELLO : CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA
The landscape master plan for this historic inn employs the conceptual framework of the Garden Room in the Virginia Landscape. The plan builds upon a series of formal garden rooms – formal perennial, kitchen, cutting, and shrub gardens. The pool and terrace recall an Italian formal garden, paved in sandstone with expansive lawn panels, all surrounded by a clipped holly hedge.
