NIKE EUROPEAN HEADQUARTERS : HILVERSUM, THE NETHERLANDS
Site design for Nike’s 15-acre European Headquarters on the former site of a 1928 Olympic Games venue includes a central lawn (essentially a green roof for underground parking); a reflecting pool; and multi-purpose garden rooms inspired by the regional landscape and corporate commitment to healthy living. At completion, the project had the largest cistern system in Europe. Collaboration with William McDonough + Partners.
