WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY COMMONS : LEXINGTON, VA
A three-acre landscape integrates the new 80,000sf Commons building into the campus fabric. Flanked by the historic campus core and a stream corridor 100 feet below the building site, the project transforms the north side of campus from a service area to a second front. A 300 linear foot boardwalk is now the primary pedestrian entrance. Collaboration with VMDO Architects.
