ROUSS HALL AT THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA : CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA
NBW designed a courtyard, roof terrace, and the first green roof at UVA as part of the renovation of an historic McKim, Mead, and White building for the School of Commerce in the heart of the historic campus. Plantings of native trees and shrubs relate the terraces to surrounding gardens. Bulbs and perennials were selected for their historic importance in trade. Collaboration with Hartman-Cox Architects.
