VCU RICE CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL LIFE SCIENCES : CHARLES CITY COUNTY, VA
NBW led the master plan design effort for a new research and education center that specializes in large river ecosystems. The plan for this 342-acre site on the James River reinforces the Center’s goals to become a living laboratory for research, teaching, and public outreach programs. The Education Center was completed in 2008 and is the first LEED® Platinum project in Virginia. Collaboration with Train & Partners Architects.
