THE CONSERVATION AGRICULTURE STUDIO

The Conservation Agriculture Studio was established within Nelson Byrd Woltz to tie a family of projects together for the purpose of sharing information and interweaving sustainable agriculture with best management practices for conservation of wildlife, indigenous plants, soil, and water. Current studio projects cover more than 15,000 acres of cultivated land in Virginia, California, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Connecticut, New York, and New Zealand, with plans to expand the studio into urban agriculture projects in 2011.
