Thomas Woltz presented a session at the sold out Young Farmers Conference 'Reviving the Culture of Agriculture' at the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture in Tarrytown, NY. Thomas' talk, entitled 'Farming Biodiversity: Integration of Wildlife Conservation and Productive Landscapes', showcased examples from NBW's work in Virginia, Connecticut, New York, California and New Zealand. The discussion offered a look into how the integration of wildlife corridors, reforestation, insectaries and stream buffers can enhance the biodiversity of plants and animals on farms ultimately benefiting crops and livestock.
