![]() Tommy Solomon, Staff Designer, LEED AP Tommy joined Nelson Byrd Woltz in the spring of 2009. He holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Virginia (2006) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Architecture from the University of Memphis magna cum laude (2003). Since graduating from UVA, he worked for Gregg Bleam Landscape Architect in Charlottesville where he was a project manager for several residential projects, the AIA North Carolina Center for Architecture & Design, and the Circular Congregational Church in Charleston, South Carolina. In the spring of 2006, he co-managed the design and construction of the EcoMOD2: preHAB house (http://www.project-neworleans.org/singlefamilyhousing/ecomod1.html) in the Hurricane Katrina-ravaged Mississippi Gulf Coast region. He is the recipient of the Alpha Rho Chi Bronze Medal and the Francis Mah Travel Grant. At NBW, he is currently working on the new Martha Jefferson Hospital campus in Albemarle County VA, Tandem Farm Residence in Albemarle County, and the Blue Moon Fund office in Charlottesville. |
