Christina Michas, Project Manager

Christina Michas received her Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Virginia and joined NBW upon graduation in 2001. She studied design in Venice, Italy and is a fellow of the American Landscape Academy in France. Christina received her Bachelor of Arts degree in literature from the University of California at Berkeley. In September 2004, she helped open NBW’s New York office. From New York, she managed the design and installation of gardens at the Manhattan Friends Seminary, a roof terrace at 110th Street and Broadway, and numerous residential estates on Long Island and upstate New York. Recent projects include a landscape plan for a house and garden in Litchfield County, Connecticut and a conceptual masterplan for the Northwest Michigan Botanic Garden in Traverse City, Michigan. Christina is currently managing a redesign of the sculpture gardens at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy.
