Simon David

Simon David, Staff Designer

Simon David joined the New York office in June 2010. He received a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Virginia in 2009 and a Bachelor of Arts from St. John’s College, Santa Fe, in 2004. Prior to graduate school, Simon worked as an artist and illustrator, and as a designer and draftsman at Goldschmidt Landscape Design in Pasadena, California. Amongst various awards and fellowships, Simon was awarded the Nix Fellowship. He spent a summer mapping the relationship between Paris and its infrastructure in an effort to understand it as a resource for amenity, theatricality, and ecological operation in an urban context. His work has been exhibited in a number of juried competitions and galleries. At NBW, Simon is currently working on residential projects in Florida and New York, and an ecological-corporate landscape in New Jersey.
