Evan Grimm earned a Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture and a Master of Landscape Architecture degrees from Auburn University in Alabama. He joined Nelson Byrd Woltz in 2003, after two years at Wenk Associates in Denver CO. During his 12 years at NBW, Evan has worked on and managed a wide range of institutional, public, and private landscapes including Citygarden in St Louis MO, Asia Trail at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington DC, and Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville PA. Evan is currently managing major projects including the Duke Water Reclamation Pond (designed to reduce potable water use by up to 1.5 million gallons per year) at Duke University in Durham NC, multiple projects at the 10,600-acre Summit Bechtel National Scouting Reserve in Glen Jean WV, and the Powell Avenue Steam Plant Plaza in Birmingham AL.
