Alissa Ujie Diamond
Alissa joined Nelson Byrd Woltz in 2008. She earned a B.S. in Architecture in 2002 and Master of Landscape Architecture degree in 2008, both from the University of Virginia.
Alissa’s professional experience includes positions with Fox Architects in St. Louis, H2L2 Architects in Philadelphia, and Siteworks Studio in Charlottesville, where she contributed to the Rockefeller Master Plan in Cleveland OH which was recognized with an ASLA award for Analysis and Planning.
At NBW, Alissa has contributed to many aspects of the design practice. At Centennial Park she conducted site history research and managed design and consultant coordination through the construction administration of phase one. That phase included the reconfiguration of roads and parking, and the design of stormwater features and an outdoor events venue. In addition, she co-managed master planning efforts, focusing on site history, ecological restoration, and consultant coordination at Memorial Park in Houston. Alissa has designed roads and boardwalks for a wide range of environments, including the mountains of West Virginia for the Summit Bechtel National Scouting Reserve.
